As an At Home With Diversity Certified Realtor®, I began my real estate career in 2016 to empower people, in every community, to move authentically in the direction of their homeownership goals.
I was born in an Indonesian refugee camp and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Shortly after arriving in the United States as Vietnamese refugees, my parents received an important piece of advice: buy a home. With minimal resources, cultural challenges, and language barriers, it certainly wasn’t easy but they did. I am fueled by the strong belief that the generational benefits of homeownership, in addition to education, changed the trajectory of my life.
This livelihood is far more about my values than my sales or certifications. Built primarily on referrals, first-time buyers, first-time sellers, families, and newcomers are at the heart of my business. Every person, whether buying or selling, should have a trusted advisor by their side. It is one of the most significant decisions a person can make in their lifetime, which is why I take great care when assessing my clients’ needs and guiding them to make informed decisions.
You may be familiar with the process and know exactly what you want. You may have no idea where to start and what questions to ask. Whichever space you are in, I will meet you where you are at with meticulous enthusiasm and compassionate patience every step of the way. I’m here to be an encouraging advocate who understands the process and manages the details with organized flexibility, so you can stay focused on your goals. Together, let's find your home and community!
Long before my transition to real estate, I graduated from Santa Clara University with a bachelor's in psychology and master's in educational administration. After jump-starting my professional life with non-profits in Vancouver and Portland, I spent 10 years in the Bay Area working in leadership development, diversity education and community based-learning at my alma matre. I’ve been a west coast boomerang but now live in Lake Oswego with my husband, our 2 fantastic kids, and fluffy labradoodle. When I’m not out exploring nature’s gifts or savoring Portland’s fun food scene, you can find me actively serving the community: AREAA Portland 2024 Chapter President, Community Warehouse Board of Director, Portland Housing Center Partner Realtor, and Partners in Diversity volunteer.
If you’d like to stay connected, I invite you to subscribe to my TamTime newsletter for seasonal updates about life, community, and homeownership. You can also follow me on Instagram and Facebook. When you’re ready, just reach out and we can meet up for coffee/tea/boba to chat about your goals.
